These loan programs offers refinancing for up to 90% of the purchase price and 80% loan to value. Like the construction loan programs, interest gets paid only on the outstanding balance, and not the money that hasn’t yet been drawn for any/all rehab expenses. For the Airbnb/VRBO, loan to value can be based on higher local short-term rental rates, and not on low, long term rental rates.
